Installation

Windorco has been installing windows throughout the greater Northwest for over 54 years. We have always trained our own installers, never using sub-contractors or paying piece work, which can lead to shoddy workmanship and rushed installations. We believe spending more time and training on installations is essential. This keeps our clients pleased, and increases our business with referrals and repeat customers. We have an excellent record with minimal service calls, and strive to keep it this way. All materials used are of exceptional quality. Paintable, high performance caulking is used on both interior and exterior applications. We use Fir and Hemlock wood trim, never MDF or finger jointed stock. Installers utilize tarps and usually switch one or two windows out at a time, making the experience as comfortable as possible. Your new windows are washed both inside and out, and debris is removed when the job is finished. Insulated Glass Fabrication/Replacement

Because we are a family owned business and we manufacture our own insulated glass units, we have better control over the process. Many insulated glass manufactures will skimp on the sealants used around the perimeter, and on the desiccant contained in the spacer to save money. We use extra sealant and fill all four sides of the spacer with desiccant, making our insulated glass units last longer. We can provide many different types of glass, including Low-E’s with argon gas, tints, obscure patterns, art glass, laminates and tempered. Internal grids, leaded grids and simulated wood divided grids can be applied in a variety of patterns and designs to achieve your desired look. We can also seal stained glass pieces, and custom etched glass inside insulated units to preserve and protect them. We sell raw insulated glass units, as well as bead, foam glazing tape, blocking, caulk and other related materials to contractors, home owners and other window companies.

Storm Windows

We can provide or install wood and aluminum storm windows. Wood storms are usually pre-primed, and intended to be held on with clips, or screwed directly on to the mounting surface. Wood framed storm windows are made in a fixed pane style, and a foam tape gasket is used to seal along the storm window perimeter, compressing against the trim around the primary window. Aluminum storm windows come in three finishes, clear anodized; bronze anodized and white. Unlike wood storm windows, aluminum storm windows can be made to slide either vertically or horizontally, with a similar foam gasket which is compressed to make a seal along the perimeter.

Pick-up Orders

Windorco services both glass and window contractors, new construction and remodeling contractors as well as do-it-yourself home owners. Provide your own measurements; pick up products at our warehouse, and save money installing yourself. We can provide helpful advice and suggestions. We also sell glazing tapes, bead, caulk and other required materials depending on your job.

Screens

We manufacture aluminum screens, available in three colors, brown, white and gray. Rather than use more visible, dark screen mesh, we use gray fiberglass screen cloth, making them less noticeable. Screens can be installed with springs or screws for exterior applications, or screwed in with wicket clips for interior versions. Both are removable from inside your home.

Sliding Glass Doors

Sliding glass patio doors are available in either aluminum or vinyl frame styles. Both versions have adjustable steel wheels, weather-stripping, interlocks, and can be furnished with optional keyed locks. Opening styles include half sliders, three lite and four lite versions, up to twelve feet in width. Nailing flanges can be included or removed upon request, and all are available with screens.

Skylights

Curb mounted skylights are available in both solid aluminum and aluminum/vinyl framing. Both styles have welded corners, and come standard with safety glass. Fixed, operable and acrylic dome type skylights are also available, and come with insect screens when applicable.

Window/Door Millwork Sales

We can provide specialty window and door trim, all milled from Hem/Fir such as; colonial stop, quarter round, cove mold, 1×2, bull nose, casing, brick mold, shake mold, window sill material and glazing bead.

Storm Doors

Self storing storm doors are available for pick up, or can be installed. They’re available in three colors; clear anodized, bronze anodized and white. Full view and vertical sliders are some of the more common types, with tempered safety glass, insect screens and adjustable pneumatic cylinders. All doors come with the necessary hardware to complete the installation.
